about

Australian music legend Vince Melouney (The Aztecs, The Bee Gees) is making his fuzz-tastic 1966 recording of “No Good Without You” available to digital services for the first time ever.

The single (which Vince recorded in Sydney with his band The Sect) was a radio hit in Australia (helped along by Vince's appearances on the television show “Kommotion”) but was never released internationally.

Many consider Vince's performance of the song (written by Motown's William “Mickey” Stevenson) to be the definitive Garage Rock version.

Shortly after the single's release, Vince departed for London where he was asked to join The Bee Gees in early 1967, achieving massive international success almost immediately.
